Buying one part per paycheck, (or good deal) staring with a bare frame and working towards a complete bike. One post per part (or with any real progress). Mainly pictures, not so many words. 1. Frame
After a short drive (2 Saves the Day cds) to San Marcos, I met with a guy to pick up the S90 frame. When we walked into the warehouse, this guy had a massive stockpile of old bikes and parts.
We sat around for a bit and talked about my plan, also searched around for a motor but had no luck. We threw the frame in my truck and headed home with the first piece of the project.
After a good cleaning the frame showed only mild surface rust, but nothing a little sand blasting won't take care of.
